Bodham Wildlife and WalksThe photographs below have been taken by Kerri Clarke on her daily walks during Coronavirus 2020. Using Bodham as a central start point, all are within walking distance, although some are quite a distance. The secret to walking around our beautiful countryside is to keep your eyes open and look for the small things as well as taking in the big picture. A raindrop on a twig, a cobweb covered in dew, watching cygnets grow into adult swans, deer grazing in our fields, wild horses in the park, butterflies on wild flowers, the list goes on. All you have to do is look for the beauty. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by beauty, wide open spaces, beaches, National Parks, small woodland walks and a huge range of public footpaths. Respect the countryside, keep to well trodden paths, close gates behind you, do not drop litter, do not scare the wildlife and if taking your dogs, please pick up behind them so that all can enjoy the outdoors. If you are going off track, make sure that someone knows what route you are taking, it is easy to get lost in woodland.
